In the first Book Club of 2025 Tadd and Peter dive back into
Wizard & Glass. They find the young Ka-Tet leaving for the
day and Roland sees something before they leave. Sheemie has to
go up the Cöos to deliver something to Rhea and is given
something to deliver to Cordelia. Alain senses that something is
wrong back at the Bar K, Roland doesn't seem to care. What he is
sense is Jonas destroying and defiling everything and killing
their carrier pigeons. Then on finding the defilement there is a
massive explosion between Cuthbert and Roland that nearly comes
to blows and the words are brutal. After leaving Cuthbert runs
into Sheemie coming back down Cöos hill. Jonas returns to find
Depape shook as one of Farson's men has showed up and he is
mayhap more than a man.
