Buongiorno cari amici e amanti dell’italiano e benvenuti al nuovo
episodio di Tulip.

Oggi parliamo della festa di oggi, 15 di agosto che in Italia
chiamiamo Ferragosto. Nel mondo questa festa è conosciuta come
festa religiosa, il giorno dell’Assunzione al cielo di Maria, cioè
il giorno in cui Maria, la madre di Gesù finisce la sua vita
terrena e sale in paradiso.

Anche in Italia si celebra l’assunzione di Maria, ma per molti ha
anche un significato di vacanza, riposo e festa. Il suo nome deriva
dall’antica Roma e significa ferie di Augusto, in latino „Feriae
Augusti „ in onore di Augusto, primo imperatore di Roma, dal 27
a.C. al 14 d.C., conosciuto come il fondatore di Roma.
