Island of gods #1 by Hartmut Kiss

This is the first of two musical flashbacks from my time on/in
Ibiza. I purchased the tracks included in both mixes at the DJ
store "Delta Discos" in Ibiza. In a way, these tracks are just as
"old school" as all the other "usual suspects." The only crucial
difference: none of them could be found in our club and vinyl
stores. And so, after my first four days and nights in Ibiza, I
brought home around 35-40 records. In the years that followed, I
spent several more days on the island, as well as a considerable
number of "Delta Discos records and CDs." I still count many of the
tracks I discovered there among my personal favorites. Well then.
I'm curious to see if you like what you hear. The great days and
nights, parties, and countless encounters from that time have long
since disappeared into the mists. Music, however, is like a good
book. As long as someone reads/hears it, it will remain...) Dies

diese Titel ebenso "Oldschool" wie alle anderen "Üblichen
Verdächtigen". Einziger, entscheidender Unterschied: Nichts davon
war in unserer Club & Vinyl-Stores zu finden. Und so haben nach
meinen ersten 4 Tagen und Nächten Eivissa an die 35-40
Schallplatten mit nach Hause begleitet. In den darauf folgenden
Jahren kamen etliche Aufenthalte auf der Insel, sowie eine
stattliche Anzahl "Delta Discos Schallplatten und CD's" hinzu.)
Viele der damals dort entdeckten Tracks zähle ich bis heute zu
meinen persönlichen Favoriten. Nun denn. Bin gespannt ob Euch
gefällt, was ihr hört. Die tollen Tage & Nächte, Partys &
zahllosen Begegnungen aus dieser Zeit sind längst im Nebel
verschwunden. Mit der Musik jedoch ist es wie mit einem guten Buch.
