says YES.


Nino is the CPO of Apillon and is working on making the developer
experience in crypto simple and fast. He explains in this episode
why this is NOT the case today in crypto & web3, what needs
to change and how Apillon is creating a complete platform to
build your Web3 project quickly and easily. 


Their approach to simplify things is based on offering a “unified
gateway to Web3 services”. 


Right now, if you want to create an app that leverages all the
different features of app chains built on Polkadot, it takes a
LOT of effort/time and it is complex. Nino explains how Apillon
integrates multiple app chains, providing developers with
easy-to-use APIs so that it only takes a couple of clicks for
them to implement features in their apps such as decentralized
storage or hosting and decentralized identities (DiDs). 


This might unlock crypto to web2 developers and enterprises with
the idea essentially being: 


“You get easy access to all
these credibly decentralized services that
unlock the following benefits…”


A web3 version of Instagram, where you own your own data,
credentials and social graph with in-built mechanics to monetize
with crypto, might not be a distant figment of our imagination
anymore. The technological primitives largely exist now. It is
about packaging them up in a way, that it is easy to develop and
entertaining to consume.
