Building The World’s Decentralized Supercomputer (with Shawn Tabrizi)

We discuss airdrops, degens, disposable chains, number going up

Today’s guest is Shawn Tabrizi, a long time core developer of the
blockchain Polkadot. Shawn shares his journey in the crypto world
and explains how Polkadot's next iteration called JAM will be
tested on a physical custom-built supercomputer before
decentralizing across low-cost hardware worldwide. 


We also discuss the innovative approach of disposable chains,
which can handle millions of temporary transactions without
bloating the main chain. 


Additionally, we tackle the flawed metric of transactions per
second (TPS) and why it’s not a reliable measure of blockchain
performance. We also explore the concept of decentralized token
pools managed by DAOs to align incentives across multiple
projects and drive Web3 forward.
