11 This is going to be a reflective and discovery episode. If you
are tuning in for the first time, thank you.

The Christian walk is simple, but it isn't easy. If you have ever
thought, I'm a Christian, why is this happening to me?

Here are a couple of verses I want you to hear
Matthew 7:13,14

Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the
way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by
it.
Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads
to life, and there are few who find it.

You will need to battle many false beliefs in your Christian
walk, but life being easy after you get saved is not in the
Bible.
You could argue it's the exact opposite.

To be successful in any area of your life, you must make up your
mind to do something regardless of the cost.

I am going to use this podcast as our example. I'm eleven
episodes in, and I've only begun my journey. IF I start comparing
myself to other podcasters who have been at this for years, I
will fail.

Your Christian walk is the same. We all start as babies in
Christ
One more example:
Do you think Jesus ever struggled with life being
difficult?
Read Matthew 26: 37-39

And He took with him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, and He
began to be sorrowful and deeply distressed.

Then he said to them, "My soul is exceedingly sorrowful, even to
death, stay here and watch with Me."

He went a little farther and fell on his face, and prayed,
saying, "O my Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from
Me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as You will.
Jesus had already made up His mind, but the "struggle"
is real. There is an incredible power to a made-up mind, and that
is what I want you to get out of this lesson today.
