24 In this episode I ask you what sin gets you thrown into Hell.

I heard a speaker tell me one time it's the first time you sin
that gets you thrown into Hell. I think I must disagree.

I do not believe sin is the issue anymore. I read multiple
passages from the book of Hebrew where it tells you Christ died
once for all sin.

Hebrews 9:12
Not with the blood of goats and calves, but with His own blood He
entered the Holy Place once for all, having obtained eternal
redemption.
Hebrews 9:14
How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal
Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, cleanse your
conscience from dead works to serve the living God.

Hebrews 9:24

For Christ has not entered the holy places made with hands,
which are copies of the true, but into heaven itself, now to
appear in the presence of God for us.

Hebrews 10:5-10
Therefore, when He came into the world, He said: “Sacrifice and
offering you did not desire, but a body You have prepared for Me.
In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin You had no pleasure.
Then I said, 'Behold, I have come in the volume of the book it is
written of Me to do your will, oh God. Previously saying,
“Sacrifice and offering, burnt offerings, and offerings for sin
You did not desire, nor had pleasure in them” (which are offered
according to the law), then he said, “Behold, I have come to do
Your will, O God. He takes away the first that He may establish
the second.  By that will we have been sanctified through
the offering of the body of Jesus once for all.

Hebrews 10:14

for by one offering, He has perfected forever those who are
being sanctified.

Every sin that has ever been committed on the earth was placed on
Jesus at the cross. Jesus took our sin on His body, they nailed
His body to the cross and buried Jesus and every sin with Him.

This would be a terrible story but the story doesn't end with the
death of Jesus. Three days later He rose from the dead and will
never die again. This is "the too good to be true news" of the
Bible. (Also known as the Gospel)

Sin is not the issue. The only question God is going to ask you
when you stand before Him in heaven is: What did you do with My
Son?

If you answer I believed Your word and accepted Him as Savior and
declared Him Lord of my life. You shall be saved.

If you haven't declared Him Lord of your life I believe you will
be asked to stand in a different line in heaven.

The Bible does say "All have sinned," but it also declares Jesus
died once for all sin. All sin means every sin past, present, and
future sins were nailed to the cross and buried with Jesus.

Thank you for listening.
