34 In this episode I continue the idea the “modern” church has a
power shortage. I think it originates from not knowing the word
of God. (And that's where I come in to help)
You and I are the church and when I say the church has a power
shortage it is because we don't use the word of God in our life
as much as we should.

Study Lesson - The Kingdom of God
Noah just got off the Ark and built an altar to God and
sacrificed to God. God smelled to the soothing aroma and said in
His heart He would never again curse the ground for man's sake or
destroy every living thing as He had done.
Genesis 8:22
While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat,
winter and summer, and day and night shall not cease.
Mark 4:26-29
And He said, “The Kingdom of God is as if a man should scatter
seed on the ground, and should sleep by night and rise by day,
and the seed should sprout and grow, he himself does not know
how.
For the earth yields crops by itself; first the blade, then
the head, after that the full grain in the head. But when the
grain ripens, immediately he puts in the sickle, because the
harvest has come.
Matthew 6:33
But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and
all these things will be added to you.
You and I have two things we can control in the seedtime and
harvest declaration God declared in Genesis 8:22
God is never caught off guard and He does wait until we pray to
deliver to us the answer. Most of what you and I ask God for is
already made available through God's grace.
It is our job to use faith and follow-through (action) to make
something happen.
Adding to this lesson I want to introduce another scripture.
Galatians 6:7-9 Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for
whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to
his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to
the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life. And let us
not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap
if we do not lose heart.
I also want to introduce the concept of time I briefly introduced
it on a previous podcast but God is not “caught” in time. He
works outside of the time restraints we live in here on earth.
God's word will come to pass but it will take time.
Let me read you two scriptures in Genesis to illustrate what I'm
trying to say.
Genesis 16:16, 17:1
Abram was eighty-six years old when Hagar bore Ishmael to
Abram.
When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the Lord appeared to
Abram and said to him, I am Almighty God; walk before Me and be
blameless.
