39 In this episode I conclude the teaching on the power of the
seed and I pull together the last seven episodes with the
scripture I read from James 1:21-25
Therefore lay aside all filthiness and overflow of wickedness,
and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to
save your souls.
But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving
yourselves.
For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like
a man observing his natural face in a mirror; for he observes
himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he
was.
But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in
it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this
one will be blessed in what he does.

Mark 4:13
And He said to them, “Do you not understand this parable? How
then will you understand all the parables?
The sower sows the word.
And these are the ones by the way side where the word is sown.
When they hear, satan comes immediately and takes away the word
that was sown in their hearts.
These likewise are the one stone on stony ground who, when
they hear the word, immediately receive it with gladness; and
they have no root in themselves, and so endure only for a time.
Afterward, when tribulation or persecution arises for the word's
sake, immediately they stumble.
Now these are the ones sown among thorns; they are the ones
who hear the word, and the cares of this world, the deceitfulness
of riches, and the desires for other things entering in choke the
word, and it becomes unfruitful.
But these are the ones sown on good ground, those who hear the
word, except it, and bare fruit some thirtyfold, some sixty, and
some a hundred."
2 Peter 3:8
But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord
one day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years is like a
day.
You and I are the church and when I say the church has a power
shortage it is because we don't use the word of God in our life
as much as we should.
Mark 4:26-29
And He said, “The Kingdom of God is as if a man should scatter
seed on the ground, and should sleep by night and rise by day,
and the seed should sprout and grow, he himself does not know
how.
For the earth yields crops by itself; first the blade, then
the head, after that the full grain in the head. But when the
grain ripens, immediately he puts in the sickle, because the
harvest has come.
Matthew 6:33
But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and
all these things will be added to you.
God is never caught off guard and He does wait until we pray to
deliver to us the answer. Most of what you and I ask God for is
already made available through God's grace.
It is our job to use faith and follow-through (action) to make
something happen.
I also want to introduce the concept of time I briefly introduced
it on a previous podcast but God is not “caught” in time. He
works outside of the time restraints we live in here on earth.
God's word will come to pass but it will take time.
