53 In this episode, I continue to talk about the Armor of God,
but I share a word God gave me during my prayer time.

The word was "surrender," and I go to the book of Exodus and the
story of God calling Moses in the burning bush but specifically
Exodus 4:2-4

So the Lord said to him, "What is that in your hand?" He said, "A
rod."

And He said, "Cast it on the ground." So he cast it on the
ground, and it became a serpent; and Moses fled from it.

Then the Lord said to Moses, "Reach out your hand and take it by
the tail" (and he reached out his hand and caught it, and it
became a rod in his hand)
This story shows Moses surrendering to God by doing as God
commanded him. I'm sure Moses knew grabbing a snake by the tail
was a bad idea in the natural world, but God was teaching Moses
to surrender and trust Him.

Trusting God is the first step and a powerful lesson on surrender
and if you want to be strong in the Lord and the power of His
might. (Ephesians 6:10) you need to surrender to
God.

We finish this episode in 2 Corinthians 12:10 
Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in
needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ's sake. For
when I am weak, then I am strong.
