The Today Podcast, Newscast and When It Hits The Fan have come
together for a special episode, to look at the role of the media
in the general election campaign.
Alongside The Today Podcast's Amol Rajan are Adam Fleming and
Alex Forsyth from Newscast; David Yelland and Simon Lewis from
BBC Radio 4 podcast When it Hits the Fan and Marianna Spring, the
BBC's Disinformation and Social Media correspondent.
They discuss the declining role of newspapers and how social
media is being used by the campaigns.

The Today Podcast is hosted by Amol Rajan and Nick Robinson, both
presenters of BBC Radio 4’s Today programme, the UK’s most
influential radio news programme. Amol was the BBC’s media editor
for six years and is the former editor of the Independent, he’s
also the current presenter of University Challenge. Nick has
presented the Today programme since 2015, he was the BBC’s
political editor for ten years before that and also previously
worked as ITV’s political editor.
