The Smile club

In this episode we learn that Busters mother struggled with Mental
illness and was in and out of the Insane asylum. In those days you
could be committed for any reason that your husband wanted to. If
you were depressed or had anxiety or your husbands affairs got the
better of you and you went off the deep end, in you went to the
local asylum for weird new ways to treat those things.
Uncontrollable rages and the smile club were both a part of Buster
flags life.
