Facebook Accused of Spying on Instagram Users Through Cameras

Facebook Inc. is yet again being sued for “allegedly” spying on
Instagram users, this time, through their phone cameras.

Facebook denied the reports and blamed a Gremlin that crossed the
wires.

In her complaint, Brittany Conditi claims that Instagram is
data-mining “lucrative and valuable data on its users that it
would not otherwise have access to.”

This comes after a suit claiming Facebook is illegally harvesting
the biometric data of its more than 100 million Instagram users.
A lovely technique TikTok has been doing since its
inception.
