DOMKcast with Michael Orlando of Dead Girls Academy

An incredible story of perseverance on this episode of the
DOMKcast. Michael Orlando was on tour with the band Vampires
Everywhere when their bus was hit by a drunk driver. Crippling
injuries were sustained as a result of the crash and sent Michael
to rehab where he began a long grueling recovery. Reemerging with a
new perspective on life, Michael decided to get back in the music
business and start another band called Dead Girls Academy. He
talked about the effects of going through a traumatic event like
the bus crash has had on his life. Michael still deals with
flashbacks from time to time and avoids driving in the dark all
together.

Perhaps a little problem with OCD, Michael talked about his quirks
that he does while out on the road and touched on the bedbugs
epidemic. This is a real thing and had Lunchbox curious as to how
you check for them. Michael loves to watch food shows in his spare
time. He gives some of his favorites and we dive into some old
