Your legacy is the only thing you leave behind in this world. The
Protest convey's that message in the album artwork of their latest
effort "Legacy". Lead vocalist Josh Bramlett is the special guest
this week on the DOMKcast. New song out called "Noise Revolution"
which you'll hear at the end of the episode. Josh's first passion
was basketball. Make sense when you find out the band is from
Indiana. It's in their blood out there. A band with a positive
message but heavier sound. They do have christian beliefs but don't
consider themselves a christian band. How have their christian
beliefs affected them in their dealings with record labels? Has it
given them a bit of a stigma or has it been embraced? Hear about
the trials and tribulations that the band has had to endure not
only with the people in the music business. At the end of the day,
they just want to reach people and uplift them. That's something
they've never lost sight of. Their nickname is "The Road Warriors"
playing over 150 shows every year. Where would they like to tour in
the future that they haven't already been? Hear touring stories and
their aggressive approach to getting their stuff heard in the
episode. It's refreshing to hear such a positive message in a
negative climate. For a little piece of that, listen to episode 76
of the DOMKcast with Josh Bramlett of the band The Protest.
