New Korn in the works for 2019? Jonathan Davis of Korn joins the
DOMKcast. On the road with the Black Labyrinth tour and made a stop
in Tulsa at the Cain's Ballroom. Jonathan says his solo stuff has
more of a mellow feel to it compared to the music he's created with
Korn. Speaking of which, Jonathan says that he will start laying
down the vocals after he wraps up his solo tour. Perhaps we'll get
a new album from them in 2019. We talked about the process of
recording a new album with him. Sometimes it takes no time at all
and others it's more of a time consuming process. Just looking for
that inspiration and acting on it. Hear his Mt. Rushmore of New
Wave bands. The category of music Jonathan Davis was a huge fan of
growing up. His musical background influenced by his father who
owned a music store in California. Originally from Bakersfield,
California. Hear about his upbringing out there. Korn played a few
shows to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the release of their
landmark album "Follow The Leader". Hear about his experiences and
reminiscing about that time period where Korn dominated the show
TRL on MTV amongst all the boybands. According to Jonathan Davis,
"we were carrying the rock flag around that time and it felt good."
