Today I am speaking with Elizabeth Fitton Higgins and Eunchim
Choi from the Mangrove Collective. The Mangrove Collective is a
for-purpose international humanitarian and development
consultancy, based in New Zealand and Singapore with a focus on
the Pacific and Asia regions.
In this powerful conversation we learn how the lack of support
for working mothers in a corporate NGO environment became a
catalyst for one of the founding principles for The Mangrove
Collective. We hear how the Collective practices a strong
culture of support and collegiate thinking. We learn about
the chaotic early days and how the MC turned it
around to create a stable pipeline of work that they really love
doing. And finally the Mangrove Collective have some great
advice for those just starting out on their consulting
journey.
