My Favorite Husband was first broadcast as a one-time special on
CBS Radio on July 5, 1948.CBS's new series Our Miss Brooks had been
delayed coming to the air, so to fill in the gap that week CBS
aired the audition program the radio equivalent of a television
pilot for My Favorite Husband.Lucille Ball and Lee Bowman played
the characters of Liz and George Cugat, and a positive response to
this broadcast convinced CBS to launch My Favorite Husband as a
series. Bowman was not available to do the series, so when it
debuted later that month it starred Lucille Ball and Richard
Denning as the leads. The couple lived at 321 Bundy Drive in the
fictitious city of Sheridan Falls, and were billed as, "two people
who live together and like it." In today's two episodes of my
favorite husband. This first episode is called Liz sells a dress in
this episode Liz Cooper is trying her best to make her husband
George late for work as she knows that George always checks her
checkbook and make sure her account is not overdrawn but
unfortunately for Liz Mr Cooper is up and checks her checkbook and
tells her her account is overdrawn. so in order to even out her
bank account she has to sell a dress that she has purchased. so she
does what George ask her but unfortunately takes the dress that she
purchased to the wrong store for a refund . so she hatches an idea
of selling the same dress to customers for a reasonable price. in
the second episode for tonight it is called the Halloween surprise
party. in this episode George and Liz Cooper have not been invited
to a Halloween party by their friends the atterburys so George and
Liz tried to throw their own Halloween party at their house. but
unbeknownst to both of them they do not know that their friends
they add berries are throwing them a Halloween surprise party at
their own house. I hope you guys enjoy Miss Lucille Ball and mr.
Richard Denning in the CBS comedy show my favorite husband if you

thanks.
