A properly nourished human body is the greatest known pharmacy. No
one has been able to duplicate it or we would not need vaccines. In
fact, a vaccine is a “product that stimulates a person's immune
system to produce immunity to a specific pathogen and related
disease, protecting the person from that disease, i.e. the cure is
created by the human body." Without proper nutrition, the immune
system is poorly equipped to defend the body when exposed to
pathogens. For this reason, we must take a “prevention before cure
approach” when it comes to immunity support. On this episode, host
Kat Barefield, MS, RD will cover the key micronutrients involved in
the immune system, which ones many people fall short of, and how to
build and support a strong immune system through nutrition. Earn
