Episode 100- Briar Nolet, Dancer and Actress

Briar Nolet is an amazing young dancer who first entered the
spotlight as a young Richelle on J troupe in the television show,
The Next Step. 


Over the years she has become one of the longest standing cast
members having appeared on every season of the hit television
show.


However, it wasn’t actually dancing that was her first passion.
Young Briar followed in her parents gymnastics footsteps from a
very early age inspired by their Olympic achievements.


Concerned about injury her parents introduced her to dancing at
age 7 and from that moment she has gone from strength to
strength. 


Apart from her role on The Next Step, she has also graced our
screens on World of Dance which then landed her the incredible
opportunity of opening for J Lo on tour. 


But it hasn’t always been smooth sailing. At the age of 16 Briar
started experiencing seizures and was told she would need to
retire from dancing.


Continuing on, despite the challenges, she was finally diagnosed
with epilepsy at the age of 19 and able to receive treatment to
enable her to continue pursuing her dreams. 


Briar proves that hardwork and determination can lead you to
great things.
