Subscribe to the podcast in iTunes, on Swell, on Stitcher, TuneIn
Radio, or via PocketCast, which is a great app. My website is
www.PaperbackRocker.com and you can find links to my books on
Amazon there. Find my Android app on the Amazon App Store. Follow
me on Twitter @PaperbackRocker. Email me at
PaperbackRocker@live.com. Thanks for listening! The show
notes are as follows: First, I congratulate Matt Kacar of
the Artist Connection Podcast on his three year anniversary. I
appeared on episode 205 of his show. Ben Sawin, Barry Gross, Neel
Daniel, and Marie from My Wild Surmise gave me some good feedback
after the last episode. I give some advice on how to cook
big pieces of meat in the oven without overcooking them. I read a
poem that illustrates my desire to podcast from many years ago
after my divorce. I tell a story about when I saw a UFO, no
lie. The subject of this episode is a raconteur by the name
of Jean Shepherd. He's the guy who wrote "Christmas Story" and
narrates it. The story of his life branches out into things as
unexpected as Dr. Hook songs and Queen album covers.
I hope you enjoy this episode and thanks for listening!
