This episode of the You and Me Podcast spotlights REAL BRIDE
Alexandra Cole, owner of her incredible business 'Flawless', a
luxury make-up artistry based in Toronto, Canada as she wed her
gorgeous beau Ethan in between the crazy COVID year of
restrictions that was 2020.


A long distance relationship followed until an unexpected
proposal at Alex's grandmothers house cemented their future,


A short engagement followed, with Alex ensuring that their
wedding fell on her grandparents anniversary - a super important
moment for her, and it just so happened with all her vendors
falling into place, it was manifested to be.


A dreamy idea grew to an amazing minimalist art deco inspired
wedding day - sleek and modern to match her grandparents
property, a less is more approach. Alex knew that with intimate
details highly thought of, they could reduce the additional
elements (such as flowers) and really allow their surroundings to
shine.


COVID came through and changed their plans, like so many others
had happen to them during 2020, however Alex suggested that
sending out invitations, round by round, helped navigate the
guest list reduction, and manage expectations of all involved
with their wedding day.


This conversation with Alex delves into the advantages of working
within the industry, and how to then decide on what to include in
your own wedding, the importance of family and tradition and
advises future brides to go into your wedding planning journey
with an idea of what you want for your day, which will help
reduce the indecision and the unknown!
