This episode of the You and Me Podcast spotlights REAL BRIDE
Georgia Zullo and delves into her gorgeous overseas wedding in
Greece with her now husband Michael.


Georgia and Michel were overseas in Sardinia, Italy when he
proposed, with Georgia thinking they were watching a wedding at
their hotel, when in actual fact - Michael was asking her to
marry him!


With both Georgia and Michael having ties to Greece, the idea of
getting married there was first the first thoughts as they were
traveling after their initial engagement.


200 people for a destination wedding may seem alot to some,
however with Greek weddings, on average, being 400+, this would
be considered an intimate event!


Traditional elements were important to both Georgia and Michael,
as they got married at the same Church as her sister, stayed in
the same houses as family members had for the prior wedding, and
had a ceremony with traditional Greek elements such as the
Stefana crowns which allowed them to pay homage to their
heritage.


Georgia takes us through planning a wedding from afar and the
challenges faced when having a destination wedding, the legal
requirements you have to keep on top of to make sure your wedding
can happen and for those traveling domestically in Europe - you
may need to book A WHOLE PLANE SEAT for your wedding dress!!!!
