Philly Smirk, owner of @phillysmirkdesign, a graphic design
studio based in Sydney, NSW.


Philly decided to take fate into her own hands, and, once laying
eyes on Milos across a bowls club bar, walked right on over and
offered to buy him a drink! Sensing his calming and honest
nature, Philly took the leap and approach a more traditional
Milos - who made the point to buy the first drink., however the
rest , as they say, is history!


Philly and Milos decided they first wanted to bring all their
loved ones to Sydney and rent a property on Sydney Harbour -
really be able to show their interstate and international guests
the essence of Sydney - however with Philly wanting a garden
styled wedding - none of the harbour properties quiet got it
right - and so Philly stumbled across their incredible wedding
venue, family home Somerley House @somerleys.weddings on
Instagram and all their boxes were ticked in the one space!


With Philly's solid background in graphic design, and her
intimate knowledge of which colour palette she wanted, and what
styling idea's she envisioned - she connected with the incredible
Dani from @themakehaus_ and together they created the most
amazing nod to Europe in Australia that they could with a colour
palette that included rich honey tones and soft dusty blues.
