Dr. Martin Sweatman is a chemical engineer at the University of
Edinburgh working in both statistical mechanics and
archaeoastronomical studies of symbolism at Göbekli Tepe. Our
conversation with Dr. Sweatman circles around the missing pieces
in our modern narrative of the emergence of civilization after
