#1: Erik the Red (Middle Class Pig Records)

Welcome to Bands Are Like Girlfriends! On the first episode I
talk to Erik Bauer aka Erik the Red, an American expat who moved
to Germany in the mid 90s and started a record label on which my
band released our first record. Erik and I talk about the
difficulties of being a young punk kid in Kansas City, getting
beat up by rednecks, weird mall record stores, Berlin in the
