#82 - Oldsoul (Jess & Tom)

Today’s episode is featuring Oldsoul! We have a conversation with
Jess and Tom about the growth of their songwriting journey in the
band. Beginning in basement venues, and connecting through Jake
of Counter Intuitive records, Jess and Tom talk about their
journey as a band and their love for connecting with a live
audience through their sound. By collaborating and building off
one another, they fleshed out what they feel is their sound. They
talk about recording, their latest album “You Were Overwhelmed”,
and their latest singles, “Safety Net” and “High on Yourself”.
Due to the pandemic, the two discuss how diy music is changing,
and the influence of social media on bands starting out. Tom
speaks of his favorite guitar, his rare Fender Toronado, and Jess
talks about how she loves meeting people at shows. Tune into
