#88 - Skylar Sarkis (Taking Meds)

Skylar Sarkis of Taking Meds joins the pod for this interview to
talk about the band's new release "Lifesaver" and the album that
will be coming out on November 9 called "Terrible News From
Wonderful Men." We also went into a bunch of other topics too.
This interview took place the night before Taking Meds hit the
road for their tour with Microwave, Weakened Friends, and Elder
Brother. Skylar explains his excitement for this tour and
discusses how this is the band's first support tour in several
years. Also, we go into the story behind the music agent videos
and Skylar's humor on social media as a whole. Skylar goes into
great depth about the music industry and finding people who you
can trust. We hear about how Taking Meds transformed from a side
project to his main focus. He also says that he realized that the
band has to be his main focus while he was working for a Tech
Company a few years ago. Lastly, we hear about the night that
Skylar realized he needed to stop drinking and the backstory
