For Sam and Logan, they are the "Mario Brothers" when it comes to
Greet Death. They always have their eyes fixated on the next goal
or step in the process. Some would call them hard workers, but
for the two best friends, even brothers at this point, it helps
them not get caught up in the stress and depression that comes
from life. The band is always working on new music, and while on
the road they like to line up shows so that they don't have a
night off. It's so that they can debrief real quick and move onto
the next part of the process without getting caught up in their
thoughts.

For many, Dixie Land was an introduction to the band from
Michigan. Logan recalls working at Dairy Queen when he took a
break to look through his phone. That is when he saw Pitch Fork's
review about their album. Logan remembers thinking to himself, "I
am not just a Dairy Queen worker, I am a real musician." The band
finally had the recognition they deserved. However, Sam says it
has always been an organic growth for the band. They spent a long
time building a fanbase and the release show was a true success.
It was certainly a moment that put the band on the map.

Two years later, New Hell was released. It showed the real
writing style of Greet Death. Songs that bleed into each other
and lyrics that are mostly about their ongoing battle with
depression. Sam gives a lot of thought about where songs should
go. It's like a cinematic experience, where people shouldn't just
skip to the end to rate a movie, they have to watch the beginning
and the middle. The same goes for a record. Sam and Logan have
always respected records for that reason. You are practically
forced to listen all the way through.

Greet Death currently has three new songs out. It continues with
the usual theme of depression and other life difficulties. The
two lifelong band members recognize that it's not only a chance
for them to grasp their own thoughts, but someone else might be
able to relate as well. This was another fun episode where you
get to see a connection that is like none other. Check out the
