HDA 056: Why I Don't Start With Style When Designing a New Custom Home

#056: When designing a custom home, many clients will first come
to me saying that they want their home designed in a specific
style. I think that when you start with style you are missing out
on possibilities. The better way is to start with analysis and
formulate how the house will function with the environment and
how you and your family live. From their the style will evolve
naturally. When you start with the style of your home you are
limiting creativity.
