Diane Shelp - Heart Attack Victim

Diane is a lifelong resident of Lake Ariel, PA.  She's
worked at banks, as a medical assistant, and for 10+ years she
managed the video rental store in Hamlin.  In July of 2019
Diane started feeling a little un-well.  Her husband urged
her to take a trip to the Emergency Room and moments after she
arrived there, Diane was stricken with a heart attack.  The
next day she had a stent put in and a month later, a second stent
was installed.  Diane joins Adam to talk about her ordeal,
and what her life is like in the aftermath.  February is
American Heart Month and this episode will hopefully illuminate
some of the ways that an imminent heart attack can masquerade as
other problems, and why it's so important to be mindful and
listen to what your body is telling you.
