There are two erroneous  arguments made about martial arts
evolution. The first one is made by those who believe that the
art they train is a perfect preservation of an historic or
traditional fighting system. The second one is made by those who
believe that newer martial arts will always be a positive
progress on what has gone before. This episode and its sequel
looks at the concept of evolution and the various ways it can be
applied to the development of martial arts.
