MAGZ and JIM present some of the latest beneath-the-underground
sounds which have crept into earshot in recent weeks. Blackpool's
CERAMIC HOBS win the coveted 'title of the week' prize for their
new song 'All Psychiatrists Are Bastards', EATS TAPES piledrive
our ears with their infectious donner-und-blitzen scrapyard
techno, The MIKE SAMMES SINGERS sing the praises of Fine Fayre
convenience food, while ROLAN VEGA's analogue electronica basks
in a half-remembered hauntological twilight. Other new sounds
come from pioneering 60s analogue tape-splicer TOD DOCKSTADER,
the long awaited new album from Mexican widescreen electronica
wonder MURCOF, sitar-disco queen BISHI, and the
Hawkwind-cum-Sabbath post-kraut stoner rock of New York's WHITE
HILLS.
