In the first Book Club of 2024 Tadd dives into the aftermath of
the enchanted meeting on the road as Susan returns home and is
questioned by her Aunt and later when she goes to bed and has
trouble sleeping. Also Jonas and the Big Coffin Hunters have
spies who saw Roland and his Tet coming into town, and Roland and
his Tet meet Sheriff Avery and later Olive Thorin outside the
doors of a Welcome Dinner.
