I was a guest on the May 21st episode of composer Paul
Steenhuisen's podcast, Soundlab. Paul kindly allowed me to repost

We discussed my compositional background and aesthetics, and
talked in some depth about my cantata, Iridescent Notation. The
occasion was the work's Canadian premiere in Toronto on May 26th,
2019 at the Betty Oliphant Theatre. Maeve Palmer sang the
demanding soprano part, and Robert Aitken conducted the New Music
Concerts ensemble.
