The instant problem this creates is the salesperson often has no
idea how to be a great sales manager, and sadly being a great
salesperson offers little or any advantage.
The upshot for the business is they lose a great salesperson
(plus the revenue hole this creates) and they get a very average
sales manager.
There is a way to do this though, so if you are a sales person
wanting to make the switch to management or you are a business
owner who wants to help a high performing sales person make the
