Professor Tatiana Bachkirova shares her deep knowledge of
coaching and in conversation with Simon they explore some of the
limitations of coaching practice today, and what can be done to
change this.   Tatiana and Simon are both advocates for
coaching and believe coaching to be a hugely important
developmental practice, yet they see problems in how coaching is
practiced today.  The mainstream coaching focus on
positivity and positive psychology and the lack of criticality
are central concerns.  The conversation explores how to
develop a more critical-reflective approach to coaching that
supports clients and workplaces to become more developmental,
rather than simply develop resilience and try to promote positive
thinking.
