New Frontier Research Data on Cannabis Sales and Use Since Legalization

cannabis use in the state of Colorado. More than $5.5 billion of
product were sold to consumers in Colorado for recreational use.
These consumption, combined with medical use, pushed sales to more
than $8 billion. This proved to be an enormous revenue producing
industry, not only for the company that grow and distribute
marijuana, but also for the state that collect more than $1 billion
in taxes overall. So the enormous economic possibilities reached
entrepreneurs who profit, it created new jobs in the market, and it
allowed the state benefit from previously untapped revenues.
