Cannabis Business Deductions?

Morgan Fox is the Media Relations Director of the National Cannabis
Industry Association.  He talks about the 280E tax code that
prevents the cannabis industry for deducting normal business
expenses like every other business.   Meanwhile, taxes on
the cannabis industry have increased.  A court brief filed
recently means the IRS may be taken to court over this in the Ninth
Circuit Court of Appeals.  Mr. Fox lays out what lead the
cannabis industry to this potentially precedent setting legal
recourse.
