Clinical Research on the Benefits of Cannabis

Brent Zettl is President and CEO of Zyus Life Sciences which is
focused on advancing the science of wellbeing. In their 18 years of
study they research the use of cannabis as treatment for; chronic
and neuropathic pain, and for, neopsychology research into
depression, anxiety and PTSD. They advanced from anecdotal evidence
from patients to a more clinical setting study. Prior prohibition,
28% in a doctor’s toolkit were cannabis based. Prohibition wiped
out this treatment. Some 80 years later, clinical evidence is
leading to more discoveries into the benefits from these
medications that were disallowed. Mr. Zettl brings us up to date on
the process of research and what they are finding.
