#52 – The Polka King

In this Movie-Go-Round Netflix Roulette, we got our
first Netflix Original movie – The Polka King. It was a biopic,
and there was a lot of good polka music, and Jack Black and Jenny
Slate were in it. Guests Ericca Long and Cole Roulain of The
Magic Lantern podcast joined Brett, David, and Nicole in watching
it for you. We all dug deep into pertinent questions such as: Why
did we think this was released directly to Netflix? Does the
movie try to do too much? Not enough? Has the subject actually
learned anything by the end of the movie? Did any of us go insane
