#113 – Lake Placid

It's night two of Movie-Ghoul-Round 2020 and we have modified our
Netflix/Amazon Roulette randomizer a bit to include only horror
movies. It sent us off to watch Lake Placid. Although more of a
comedy with a scary premise, there's an argument to be made that
the scriptwriting alone is horrifying enough to qualify it for
the genre. Are there enjoyable elements here? Does the croc look
good? Can Oliver Platt and Brendan Gleeson save the day? And how
big was the paycheck to get Betty White to swear so much?
