#120 – Cats

Oh, god, why. Why did You do This to Us? What
even is Cats? It's a musical in search of a plot, a series of
production numbers in search of actual costumes, and a horrible,
horrible uncanny valley in which the characters don't look quite
human or quite catlike. Did Nicole, Brett, or David find anything
redeemable in this mess? Why do the female cats have human
bustlines? Why can't the production designers decide on a size
scale? And what the f*@k does "jellicle" mean???
