to a German film from 2003, Good Bye Lenin! Directed by Wolfgang
Becker, this comedic drama follows a son's efforts to keep his
mother from learning about the fall of East Germany and the
Berlin Wall after waking from a coma, missing the revolution. A
film steeped in one, giant lie: does the team think Becker pulls
it off? Is it endearing or irresponsible?
