Sherlock Holmes - The Adventure Of The Devil's Foot

The story that Dr. Watson is about to relate is a Cornish horror
known as the Adventure of the Devils Foot. It was spring of the
year 1897 Holmes iron constitution had shown some signs of giving
way due to some particular arduous nerve-racking winter. In March
of that year Dr. Moore Aver of Harley Street positive injunctions
that Holmes get out in to the country and the third week in March
found Dr Watson and Holmes in a small cottage on a grassy
headland on the Cornish peninsular. One morning their peace was
violently interrupted and they were precipitated into the
mysterious series of nerve shattering events. . .
