Gunsmoke - The Mortgage

When US Marshall Matt Dillon arrived at the jail office that
morning Caylip Andrews was waiting for him. He had a court order
from the US district Court, which he wanted Dillon to serve. It
was for the eviction of Ed Blake who had borrowed money from
Caylip Andrews in the form of a mortgage on his farm to the sum
of $420. Matt Dillon was sympathetic to Blake and felt that if
Andrews would allow Blake the winter he would clear his debt but
for some reason Andrews had already foreclosed. . .
