Dr. Watson recounts an exciting adventure, which is a sequel to
the exciting story of high society and romance A Scandal In
Bohemia. However, it is a sequel that took place twenty years
afterward in 1909. Sherlock Holmes is living on his Suffolk bee
farm and in June Dr Watson received a telegram asking him to come
and spend a long weekend with him. On the way there on the train
Dr Watson met a young woman who told him that Sherlock was an old
friend of her mother’s. She was now in need of help as a neighbor
of Sherlock’s was blackmailing her and when Dr Watson told
Sherlock she was the daughter of Irenee Naughton he agreed to
help her instantly.
