Standing in the Gap focusing on amazing intercessors in the
Bible. Today Stacy speaks with Aubrie Burke, Moms in Prayer
International Brand Manager. Listen in as Aubrie shares what we
can learn from Daniel’s prayer life and integrity. As Christ
followers, we can also appeal to the mercy of God through
prayer and obey Him by living a life that doesn’t give in to
pressures from the world and from culture. 



ABOUT OUR GUEST


Aubrie Burke has been a part of the Moms in Prayer staff for the
past six years serving in social media and branding. In high
school, her eyes were opened to the power of prayer when she saw
revival on her school campus. This set her heart on fire to see
people gather to pray and seek God for revival and spiritual
awakening worldwide. She is passionate about sharing the Word of
God and His Truth through bible studies, devotionals, and videos.


 


SCRIPTURES (NIV)


I looked for someone among them who would build up the wall and
stand before me in the gap on behalf of the land. Ezekiel 22:30a




And without faith it is impossible to please God, because
anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he
rewards those who earnestly seek him. Hebrews 11:6


 


During the night the mystery was revealed to Daniel in a
vision. Then Daniel praised the God of heaven and said: “Praise
be to the name of God for ever and ever; wisdom and power are
his. He changes times and seasons; he deposes kings and raises
up others. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the
discerning. He reveals deep and hidden things; he knows what
lies in darkness, and light dwells with him. I thank and praise
you, God of my ancestors: You have given me wisdom and power,
you have made known to me what we asked of you, you have made
known to us the dream of the king.” Daniel 2:19-23


 


Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he
may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him
because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:6-7


 


The king said to Daniel, “Surely your God is the God of gods
and the Lord of kings and a revealer of mysteries, for you were
able to reveal this mystery.” Daniel 2:47


 


Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s
mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and
pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Do not
conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the
renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and
approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
Romans 12:1-2
