writers working in Britain now’, Nadeem Aslam’s new book will
undoubtedly build his reputation still further. The author, twice
longlisted for the Man Booker Prize, now gives us The Blind Man’s
Garden, an unforgettable story set in Afghanistan and Pakistan
after the 9/11 bombings. It’s an evocative novel that sheds new
