Geneva shares her story of overcoming addiction and abuse. She
became pregnant at 16 and dropped out of high school, leading to a
life of drug abuse and domestic violence. After serving a 30-month
prison sentence, Geneva found faith and redemption. She joined the
recovery program at Seattle's Union Gospel Mission's Hope Place, a
long-term recovery program for drug and alcohol addiction. Geneva
graduated from the program and now works there as a guest service
senior manager, helping others overcome their struggles. She
emphasizes the importance of surrendering to God and breaking
generational curses of addiction and domestic violence.
